What to include in the enquiry form
Use our contact form and include the farm name, town, crop type, hectares, row spacing and the weed stage you are seeing. If the block is in onions, carrots, lettuce or brassicas, say which stage the crop is at and whether the field has tight curves, wet patches or long tramlines.
- Farm location and nearest town
- Crop, block size and planting dates
- Weed pressure, row width and access points
- Any harvest windows, labour limits or travel notes
Areas we work across
Our base is in Philippi, Cape Town and we schedule work for growers in the Western Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State. We also handle field visits and travel planning for farms around Ceres, Grabouw, Tzaneen, Bela-Bela, Nelspruit, Howick and Bethlehem.
- Philippi and the Cape Flats farming belt
- Ceres, Grabouw and surrounding valley farms
- Tzaneen, Bela-Bela and Nelspruit growing areas
- Howick and Bethlehem farm blocks
How the work is set up on your side
Laser weeding uses camera-guided detection to find weed growing points and direct laser energy at those points between and around crop plants. The unit is tractor-drawn, works without herbicide sprays and leaves the soil surface undisturbed, which matters in lighter soils and where later passes need a clean line to follow.
We look at crop spacing, weed size and field condition before setting the plan. Timing matters, because small weeds are easier to target and the field speed changes with weed pressure, crop canopy and how uniform the rows are.
People behind the field programme
Mandla Adonis leads the business, with Anele Khoza on operations, Pieter Mokoena on field scheduling and Zanele Naidoo on grower liaison. Johan Daniels leads the operator side, Lerato Letsoalo handles service coordination and Ruan Mkhabela oversees the workshop side of the equipment.
That team structure helps when a block needs a trial strip run, a repeat pass plan or a multi farm programme that has to move between holdings without wasting a clean window in the crop.
What the service brief can cover
Use the form to ask about a single block or a season programme. We can build a plan around crop timing, operator supplied work, travel coordination, arrival site checks and post pass reporting for the blocks you want covered.
- Field assessments and grower consultation
- Crop timing plans and repeat pass planning
- Season bookings and multi farm programmes
- Trial strip runs and post pass reporting
Send through the practical details
If you are sending a smaller note, keep it practical: crop, town, block size, current weed stage and the date range you are working with. If the farm sits near a coast, mention humidity or salty wind exposure, because that can matter for field access and how the crop is holding in the rows.
The more detail you give, the easier it is to line up the right equipment, operator and route from Philippi to your farm. For contract laser weeding across South Africa, our contact form is the place to start.
